Job Description

As a Bartender, you'll create memorable guest experiences through exceptional beverage knowledge, personalised service and genuine hospitality. Working across Bar Tilda and Wentworth Bar, you'll be part of a passionate team delivering premium cocktail, wine and bar experiences within Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard.
Deliver warm, personalised service and build genuine guest connections.
Recommend and upsell premium food and beverage offerings.
Maintain excellent product knowledge across both venues.
Ensure the bar is clean, organised and service-ready at all times.
Assist with stock control and inventory.
Follow RSA requirements and hotel policies.
Support events and work collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage team.
Contribute to a positive, professional and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

About You

Previous high-volume cocktail bar or luxury hospitality experience preferred. RSA certification is essential.
Strong product knowledge across classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, with a sharp eye for presentation and consistency.
Fast on your feet, accurate under pressure, and able to multitask seamlessly during peak service hours.
Welcoming, engaging, and capable of reading the room to create memorable experiences for every guest.
Committed to keeping a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar set-up at all times.
Works closely with floor staff and kitchen teams to maintain exceptional service flow.
Available to work late nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by the roster.
