Cook position – Cook, Support, Step Up at Il Falco

Il Falco is all about flavour, atmosphere, and making people feel at home in the heart of Mount Hawthorn. We’re looking for a Cook who loves Italian food, knows their way around pizza and pasta, and wants to play a key role in a busy, well-run kitchen — without the grind of early mornings or late nights.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys cooking great food, supporting the Head Chef, and helping lead a small, motivated team. You’ll be part of a venue that values quality, consistency, and a positive kitchen culture.

What you’ll be doing

Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Cooking authentic Italian dishes and pizzas during service
Helping maintain smooth, organised, and efficient service
Assisting with prep, stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Training and supporting junior kitchen staff
Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and high standards at all times
Working closely with front of house to deliver a great overall guest experience

Proven experience as a Cook
Solid background in Italian cuisine and pizza-making
Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
A team player with leadership instincts and good communication skills
Someone who genuinely cares about consistency, quality, and customer experience
