Full Job Description

We’re looking for someone who can hold the behind the scenes of Shine together, our social presence, our inbox, our brand voice, while working remotely and flexibly.

What you’ll be doing:

Creating social media graphics and content in Canva
Scheduling and managing content across Instagram and Meta
Building and running Facebook ads, following our established process
Actioning our shared inbox — trial enquiries, parent questions, general admin
Responding to social and SMS enquiries through our shared comms platform
Coordinating costume sourcing and logistics around events and concerts
Working with SOPs for your day-to-day tasks, while bringing your own ideas to how content and campaigns come together
Liaising with other staff to source content and stay aligned with what’s happening across the studio
Being a genuine extension of the Shine culture in every message you send

What we need from you:

Self-motivated — you’ll have SOPs and daily tasks, but you’re not someone who needs constant direction
Strong attention to detail, especially across social media content and scheduling
Reliable and dedicated — this is a small team, and we need someone we can count on
A team player who goes above and beyond, not someone clocking in and out
Comfortable working independently in a remote, flexible arrangement
Experience creating and scheduling social content (Canva, Instagram, Meta) and running Facebook ads
Strong written communication — warm, specific, human. Not corporate, not generic

Highly regarded (not essential):

A dance background, or genuine understanding of dance studio culture
Experience in an admin coordination or studio management role
Familiarity with iClassPro, Asana, Textmagic, or Google Workspace

The details:

Casual position, approximately 4–5 hours per day — ideal for school hours
Superannuation paid on top of hourly rate
Above-award pay
Remote/flexible working arrangement
Reports to the Operations Manager, working closely with the Studio Director
