The Role
As a Crowd Controller with Security Services WA, your responsibilities may include:
- Entry and exit management
- ID checking and patron screening
- Monitoring patron behaviour and intoxication
- Maintaining a professional and visible security presence
- Customer service and assisting patrons
- Internal and external venue patrols
- Queue and capacity management
- Early identification of potential incidents
- Conflict resolution and verbal de-escalation
- Assisting venue management and staff
- Safe and lawful management of disruptive patrons
- Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Completing accurate incident reports
- Liaising with police and emergency services when required
- Protecting patrons, employees and venue assets

Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold the appropriate current WA security/crowd control licence(s) required for the duties performed.
You must also have:
- Current First Aid certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in Crowd Control
- Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as required
- Reliable transport
- Professional presentation
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to complete electronic incident and shift reporting
