Full Job Description

Paramount Coffee Project is looking for a Venue Supervisor! If you have a commitment to delivering top-notch service, and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for guests, then this could be for you.

Working closely with the Venue Manager as the 2IC, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and assisting with leading a dedicated and passionate team.

This role is a perfect fit for someone with previous experience as a supervisor, or someone with experience in hospitality who's looking to step up into a management role.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the management of day-to-day cafe operations
Assisting with stock and internal process management
Collaborating with the venue manager to effectively lead the team and improve processes and systems
Management of the business in the Venue Managers absence.

Applicant requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills: able to confidently talk with customers and employees, and manage challenging situations as they arise in a professional manor
Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example
Ability to effectively supervise the team and report issues to upper management
Willingness to get your hands dirty and roll up your sleeves
Barista skills and previous specialty coffee experience a plus
RSA certification a must
