NDIS Participant Case Manager - MELBOURNE - Immediate Start!

Position: Full-Time

Salary: $48 – $60 per hour

Role Responsibilities

Oversee administrative systems with appropriate access levels.
Manage staff, resolve operational problems, and participate in management meetings.
Provide governance support and strategic direction in line with the strategic plan.
Coordinate in-home, respite, and SIL services.
Mentor and train a team of support workers.
Update client files and perform risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with all team and client profiles.
Handle budget allocations and organize quotes.
Conduct face-to-face meetings and serve as the first point of contact for staff and participants.
Recruit, select, induct, and train staff in consultation with directors and HR.
Maintain safe working conditions for all staff.
Provide leadership to ensure staff understand and adhere to the service’s model of practice.
Maintain administrative records, statistical data, and incident reports.
Share on-call duties fairly among management and team leaders.
Perform rostering duties and understand the SCHADS award.
Follow Workplace Health and Safety policies and safe work practices.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the disability sector with Coordinator/Case Manager experience.
Comprehensive understanding of the Disability Act 2006 and NDIS framework.
Exceptional customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Strong interpersonal and client service skills with high levels of resilience.
Well-developed oral communication and information system usage skills.
Solid organizational skills including problem-solving, prioritizing, and multi-tasking.
Good computer skills (care databases, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Effective communication and feedback handling.
Group facilitation and presentation skills.
Ability to work with diverse lifestyles and work styles.
Staff management and client intake/care planning experience.
Ability to develop individual client budgets.
Supportive and cooperative interaction approach.
Focus on participant needs and quality service.
Practical understanding of WH&S requirements.
Current driver’s license (company car available during business hours).
First Aid/CPR, NDIS Worker’s Screening Card, Blue Card, and Police Check.
Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude.
