About the Role: Reporting to the General Manager Risk & Governance, you will support the delivery of MACG's enterprise governance, risk, compliance and quality assurance framework.
Working closely with operational, clinical and executive leaders, you will help ensure MACG meets its regulatory obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024 while supporting continuous improvement, audit readiness and effective governance systems across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Compliance Obligations Register and regulatory submissions calendar, including CDET, AECT and provider re-registration requirements

Coordinate and deliver internal audit activities and track findings through to completion

Monitor compliance performance, NQIP data, SIRS reporting and incident trends

Prepare governance reports, dashboards, briefing papers and committee reporting

Support policy governance, document control and review schedules

Assist with accreditation readiness, Commission audits, monitoring visits and regulatory reviews

Coordinate evidence collection and support organisational responses to regulatory requests and enquiries

Travel to MACG services to support operational teams and governance initiatives as required.

About You: You are a confident and collaborative leader who enjoys building relationships and translating complex legislation into practical business outcomes. You'll bring:

Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care, health, compliance, governance, quality or risk management

Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying aged care legislation and standards, including managing regulatory audits and compliance reviews

Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024, Aged Care Rules 2025, Strengthened Quality Standards, SIRS and NQIP
-
Strong analytical capability and excellent written communication skills

Professional judgement, integrity and a commitment to resident centred care
Essential Qualifications:

Degree qualification in Nursing, Health Management, Governance, Risk Management, Business or a related discipline (Required)

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Required)

Current National Police Check Report (Employment) (Required)

Current Driver Licence (Required)
