Purpose (Why the role exists)
The Senior Manager role with leadership and technical experience in Risk Advisory and Assurance Domain and understanding of Genpact Risk solutions will be uniquely positioned to lead and support client delivery for clients in Australia. The person will be responsible to independently communicate with the client and create/ manage business relations. They will also be responsible for account mining to identify new opportunities with the existing/new business connects. Their efforts in building connects with the client would be extremely useful in building Genpact as a company and brand in the AU market. Their onsite presence will help create visibility for our capabilities. They will represent the Risk Advisory Services as part of the consulting practice for Genpact Australia and will be responsible for leading solutions like Operational Risk Management, Internal Control Framework Design and Review, Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Framework Development etc. to comply with various APRA regulations. The person will also be responsible to support Business Development activities across Risk Advisory domain for new clients and support mining and business expansion of existing client accounts of Genpact Axis. In their role as Senior Manager with Genpact Australia, they will be responsible for leading large accounts for Genpact.

Client Service and Delivery Responsibilities
· Ability to lead and support client delivery of risk and assurance solutions across global locations
· Ability to independently communicate with the client and create/ manage business relations
· Will be responsible to support Business Development activities across Risk Advisory domain for new clients and support mining and business expansion of existing client accounts of Genpact
· Ability to independently manage multiple customer engagements leading teams with end to end responsibility of planning, execution and achievement of client mandate.
· Will independently interact with the customers to understand expectations, accordingly assign team members to the project basis skill set required, define timelines/deliverables and take key decisions with regards to project management. This requires attending meetings with senior management of the client to understand their business objectives, assignment mandate etc.
· Will review the project deliverables to ensure quality standards are maintained. This will include review of design assessment, operating effectiveness testing / fieldwork performed by team members, providing valuable inputs to ensure all aspects of the risk management framework mandate are covered.
· Will be responsible for structuring implementable recommendations for design level / compliance issues. Will be responsible for engaging with client’s department/functional heads to discuss the issues observed as a result of the fieldwork undertaken, so as to understand the business impact and root cause of the issue.
Team Management Responsibilities
· Will be responsible for leading teams with risk professionals across the Genapct hierarchies from Analysts to Senior Managers for multiple engagements
· Will be responsible for conducting performance appraisal, providing project based feedbacks and grooming and career development of team members.
· Will define performance management and annual goal setting for team members, defining their career development path and coach team members and would also be responsible to authorize their leaves, etc.
· Will participate in organization hiring process to support HR in assessing and onboarding appropriate skillset.

- Clients in the BFS industry – Risk Management functions, CRO, CEO, CFO etc.

Knowledge (Factual or procedural information needed to perform in the role)
- Understanding of principles, practices, theories and concepts relating to risk (e.g. operational risk, compliance risk, project risks)
- Working knowledge of risk appetite and governance concepts
- 10 - 15 years’ of Risk advisory and Assurance domain experience with working knowledge of Operational Risk and Compliance frameworks, GRC tools, Control Assurance policies and procedures
- Understanding of the Banking and Financial Services Industry
- Has worked in Risk Consulting with exposure to client issue understanding, proposal development, solution planning and execution
- Ability to develop cross functional knowledge of risk management policies and procedures adhering to Regulators as well as specific internal corporate requirements
- Ability to work with complex business organisations and provide operational risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives generally spanning multiple business lines and geographies
Experience (The minimum amount of experience required to perform in the role)
- 10 - 15 years’ of Risk advisory and Assurance domain experience with working knowledge of Operational Risk and Compliance frameworks, GRC tools, Control Assurance policies and procedures
- Has worked in Risk Consulting with exposure to client issue understanding, proposal development, solution planning and execution
Pay: $159,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
