· OSS Maritime Group is an Australia-based, multinational leading provider of logistics & marine services with an excellent global trading record of over 30 years.

· Due to our recent expansion, we are seeking an additional staff member to support our increased workload. We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced candidate to join our Accounting/Administration team at our head office in Melbourne.

Job Purpose

· Serve as an important member of the Accounting/Admin team

· Process payments accurately without any delay

· Ensure the book is up to date

· Ensure all employees abide by the company’s policies and procedures

· Report to the Accounts Manager.

Job Responsibility

1) Responding promptly to customer enquiries via phone and email.

2) Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

3) Contacting existing and prospective customers to introduce and promote the company’s products and services.

4) Assisting with marketing activities, including customer follow-ups, email campaigns, and maintaining customer database.

5) Matching suppliers’ invoices against purchase orders;

6) Processing payments by EFT, Bpay, TT & credit card;

7) Liaison with suppliers and clients;

8) Contacting potential and existing clients for promoting the company’s goods and services

9) General administration duties.

Job Requirements:
1) Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment, preferably in a similar role;
2) Excellent written and spoken skills; &
3) Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel etc).

· Take initiative in communication, both internally and externally

· Is reliable, trustworthy and professional.
