The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians. We’re focused on

About the role:

The Senior Information Security Adviser role will work closely with the Principal Cybersecurity Analyst to contribute, support and coordinate a range of ongoing activities for all Governance, Risk, Compliance and Audits to ensure cyber risks are actively managed, remediated and to improve overall cyber maturity across the departments.

About you:

Play a key role in ensuring that security risks are well managed with continuous security uplifts that align to organisational objectives and meet governance, regulatory and compliance requirements.
A tertiary qualification relevant to ICT, Information Security, or similar would be highly advantageous.

Specialist Experience:

High level competency in project management, scheduling and reporting to the highest quality and standard
Experience with cyber risk management, governance and compliance requirements.
Experience analysing and recommending fit for purpose solutions.
Experience with common information security and risk frameworks e.g. Victorian Protective Data Security Standards, Essential 8, NIST.
High level of expertise in SharePoint and Power BI skills to manage dashboards and registers
