Essential Requirements
- Must hold relevant vocational qualifications at least to the level being delivered and assessed in the required qualification.
- Demonstrated current industry experience relevant to the qualification area.
- Sound understanding of the 2025 Standards for RTOs and the National Code 2018.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in the fields of knowledge and practice of vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment.
Desirable Criteria
- Evidence of professional development and industry engagement within the past 12 months
- Experience in handling administrative work related to training and assessment
- Prior experience of contextualisation of assessment tools and training materials
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of VET legislation including and Standards for RTOs 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and deliver training sessions and Assessment Strategies (TAS) and relevant training package requirements.
- Develop and maintain high-quality learning and assessment resources to support effective training delivery.
- Conduct assessments in accordance with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training and assessment records.
- Mark assessments and provide constructive and timely feedback to students.
- Respond to student queries and support student engagement with course content.
- Monitor and record student attendance, course progress, and assessment outcomes; provide required data to the administration team regularly.
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and standardisation of assessment processes.
- Support students throughout their learning journey by providing academic guidance and constructive feedback.
- Maintain professional currency through ongoing industry engagement and professional development.
Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week
