A Day in the Role Involves…
As the Learning and Development Lead (Technical) , you will spearhead the technical design, development, and delivery of contemporary learning solutions across WISE. Reporting to the General Manager – Learning and Development, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the digital learning capabilities of our workforce.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Technical Program Development: Conducting Training Needs Analyses (TNA) to identify capability gaps, applying instructional design principles, and building modern, multi-platform training plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Digital Content Creation & e-Learning Authoring: Designing and developing engaging e-learning modules, video content, and interactive resources using Storyline 360, Rise 360, Vyond, and Canva .
- LMS Administration & Publishing: Publishing SCORM-compliant content to our Learning Management System, managing completion records, and using Learning Analytics to track engagement and outcomes.
- Facilitation & Coaching: Facilitating interactive technical training sessions, workshops, and providing 1-on-1 coaching across various divisions.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Leveraging AI tools, applying Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG), and utilizing working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to customize and troubleshoot digital learning solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to customize programs and align learning strategies with best-practice service delivery.
To Be Considered, You Must Have:
Essential Technical & Professional Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in instructional design, e-learning content development, and technical training delivery.
- Strong proficiency with e-learning authoring tools ( Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Vyond, Canva ) and LMS administration.
- Demonstrated experience with SCORM publishing, video editing, and using learning analytics to monitor program success.
- Practical understanding of Accessibility Standards in digital learning design.
- Exposure to AI learning tools and foundational knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for e-learning customization/troubleshooting.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to travel to WISE offices nationally as needed.

- Full Australian working rights.
- Full Australian driver’s license.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
