Join HESTA’s Risk function as a Regulatory Change Manager and play a critical role in helping HESTA respond to, implement and embed regulatory and legislative change across the organisation. You’ll work across the business to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical change - ensuring impacts to our members, people, processes, systems, reporting and ways of working are understood, managed and delivered effectively.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Regulatory Change, you’ll partner closely with business stakeholders and HESTA’s leadership team to deliver regulatory change that strengthens our organisation and supports our purpose.

What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee multiple regulatory change initiatives, ensuring delivery aligns with HESTA’s Regulatory Change Framework, governance and timelines.
Assess regulatory and legislative impacts across people, processes, systems and reporting, working with impacted teams to define requirements and implementation plans.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and bring together the right expertise to achieve effective outcomes.
Identify and manage dependencies, risks and issues, escalating where required and keeping delivery on track.
Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable outcomes that business teams can understand and implement.
Contribute to a growth and continuous improvement mindset, encouraging practical, innovative solutions to regulatory challenges.

What You’ll Bring

You’re an experienced regulatory change, project management or business analysis professional who thrives in a complex, highly regulated environment. You’ll bring:

Extensive experience delivering regulatory and legislative change, ideally within superannuation or financial services.
Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment governing Australian financial services and superannuation.
Proven experience managing complex change initiatives, projects and competing priorities.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills, with the confidence to partner with senior leaders/executives, regulators and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to turn complex information and intelligence into clear actions and outcomes.
The ability to navigate ambiguity, identify risks and develop practical solutions.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements for non-technical audiences.
Experience working across technology, data and analytics to support effective regulatory change is highly regarded.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, change management or project management certifications are highly regarded.
