Our client, Black Lion Tyres Aus Pty Ltd, is seeking an experienced and capable Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing and procurement activities within the business. This full-time position is suited to a motivated professional with strong supplier management, negotiation and organisational skills who can ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and materials required for business operations.

Job Responsibility
· Manage and coordinate the overall procurement and purchasing activities of the business while ensuring efficient supply, cost control and effective supplier relationships.
Duties
· Develop and implement procurement strategies that support the company’s operational and business objectives.
· Source, assess and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain suitable products, services and commercial terms.
· Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including purchase orders, contracts, deliveries and supplier performance.
· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely procurement to maintain adequate stock and avoid supply interruptions.
· Review procurement costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenditure and improve purchasing efficiency.
· Maintain effective and professional relationships with suppliers, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.
· Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, product quality and compliance with agreed terms.
· Coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing requirements and ensure procurement activities align with operational needs.
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier details, contracts, pricing and procurement transactions.
· Prepare procurement reports and provide relevant purchasing and supplier information to management.
· Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
· Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualification requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce or a related field; OR
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
· Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management.
· Strong negotiation, analytical and organisational skills.

Salary
· $75,000 – $120,000 per annum + Superannuation
