Disability Support Worker – Part-Time

Seimosei are looking for professional, compassionate and genuine Disability Support Workers to join our growing team on a part-time basis.

We are looking for people who genuinely care about the people they support and take pride in helping others live more independently, confidently and meaningfully.

Whether you are an experienced Support Worker looking for a new opportunity, someone looking to enter the disability sector, or a student studying in a health-related field wanting to gain valuable practical experience, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker with Seimosei, you will provide personalised support to individuals with a range of needs, helping them with day-to-day activities, independence, community participation and skill development.

The role involves a mix of in-home support, personal care, daily living assistance and community access, with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people you support.

Every person we support is different, so we value workers who are adaptable, patient and willing to understand each individual's preferences, goals and needs.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

Providing personal care and assistance with daily living
Domestic assistance and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment
Cooking and meal preparation
Supporting clients to access and participate in their local community
Supporting appointments, activities and social participation
Developing and encouraging independent living skills
Supporting individuals to work towards their personal goals
Building positive and respectful relationships with clients
Providing encouragement, companionship and emotional support
Following individual support plans and workplace procedures
Maintaining professional boundaries and respecting client dignity, choice and privacy

However, experience is not the only thing we value.
