Disability Support Worker – Part-Time
Seimosei are looking for professional, compassionate and genuine Disability Support Workers to join our growing team on a part-time basis.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with Seimosei, you will provide personalised support to individuals with a range of needs, helping them with day-to-day activities, independence, community participation and skill development.
The role involves a mix of in-home support, personal care, daily living assistance and community access, with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people you support.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living
- Domestic assistance and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to access and participate in their local community
- Supporting appointments, activities and social participation
- Developing and encouraging independent living skills
- Supporting individuals to work towards their personal goals
- Building positive and respectful relationships with clients
- Providing encouragement, companionship and emotional support
- Following individual support plans and workplace procedures
- Maintaining professional boundaries and respecting client dignity, choice and privacy
What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have previous experience in disability support, aged care, mental health, community services or a similar field.
However, experience is not the only thing we value.
We also encourage applications from:
- People looking to begin a career in the disability sector
- Students studying nursing, allied health, psychology, social work or another health-related field
- People with relevant personal or professional experience who are looking to transition into support work
- Individuals who are reliable, compassionate and genuinely motivated to help others

- ACT Working with vulnerable people card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (We can assist in attaining this)
- Current First Aid and CPR
