About the Role
As a Registered Nurse with Rubies Nursing Care, you will provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred care across hospital, aged care, and community healthcare settings.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing direct nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
- Administering medications safely and within your scope of practice
- Monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition
- Completing wound care and clinical assessments
- Developing, reviewing, and implementing individualised care plans
- Working closely with doctors, allied health professionals, care teams, and families
- Supporting patients and families with clear communication, education, and emotional support
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Following infection control, clinical governance, and workplace safety requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration held for a minimum of TWO YEARS
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in hospital, aged care, mental health, theatre, emergency, ICU, CCU, or other clinical settings
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, patient monitoring, and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care
- Willingness to travel for contract work or interest in permanent placement opportunities
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and public holidays where required
