We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and safety-focused Yard Hand with a current Forklift Licence to join our team in Broadmeadows. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering consistent weekday hours and overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily yard operations, ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch of scaffolding equipment.
Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the yard.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised yard, ensuring equipment is stored correctly for easy access.
Coordinate stock and equipment placement to maximise yard space and operational efficiency.
Act as the first point of contact for the yard crew, escalating operational or safety issues to supervisors when required.
Communicate effectively with management regarding stock levels, operational issues, and resource requirements.
Assist with planning and preparing equipment for upcoming deliveries and major projects.
Perform manual handling duties, including the lifting and movement of scaffolding equipment.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current Forklift (LF) Licence.
White Card
Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to work independently and use initiative.
A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting.
A reliable work ethic and a positive attitude.
Have full, unrestricted work rights.
Live within 1/2 hour of Broadmeadows with your own reliable transport.
Must be able to pass random Drug and Alcohol Screening.

$38.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday roster with consistent hours.
