Company Description Cappercullen Constructions Pty Ltd is a specialist formwork and concrete placement company based in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, delivering projects across the Greater Sydney Area. Established in 2017, the company works on residential and commercial developments ranging from driveways to complex multi-level structures.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in the Greater Sydney Area. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport formwork materials, steel and equipment to and from construction sites across Sydney. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading materials, securing loads, and following scheduled routes and delivery timelines. The role involves working closely with site supervisors and construction teams to ensure on-time deliveries that support ongoing projects. The Truck Driver will be expected to adhere to all relevant road safety requirements, company procedures, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills with experience operating heavy vehicles and managing deliveries to construction sites (Truck Driving, Truck).
- Valid heavy vehicle licence and a clean driving record.
- Capability to safely load, secure, and unload materials and equipment using a HIAB & Forklift, including use of basic loading tools and manual handling practices (Unloading).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with site teams and dispatch.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours in an on-site construction environment.
- Experience in construction or building materials transport is desirable.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly.
Pay: $50.00 per hour
