- Lead a skilled electrical and mechanical team doing important work across Barwon Asset Solutions
- Help deliver safe, practical and customer-focused maintenance, operations and project outcomes
- Bring your trade, technical or engineering background to a hands-on leadership role
Looking for a leadership role that gives you variety, ownership and the chance to make a visible impact? In this role, you’ll stay close to the action, lead skilled electrical and mechanical teams, and use your trade, technical or engineering experience to solve practical problems and keep essential services running safely and reliably. You’ll be supported to lead well, build strong relationships and do work that genuinely matters to our customers, community and industry partners.
In this role, you’ll lead our electrical and mechanical trade and technical teams to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, day-to-day operational work, after-hours requirements and project services. You’ll set clear expectations, support accountability and coach supervisors and team members to do their best work.
Coordinating people, plant, equipment and contractors, you’ll keep an eye on safety and service delivery performance and help resolve issues as they come up. Building strong relationships will be a big part of the role, whether that’s with team members, internal stakeholders, customers, contractors or external partners.
You’re a practical, confident leader who enjoys working in a busy operational environment. You might be a qualified tradesperson or engineer, bringing strong hands-on experience from electrical, mechanical, asset maintenance, utilities, infrastructure or field services or similar. Either way, you’ll bring sound judgement, strong people leadership skills and the ability to balance safety, quality, customer, compliance and commercial priorities.
Comfortable setting priorities, supporting supervisors and teams, using operational systems and reporting tools, you communicate clearly, handle issues constructively and care about continuous improvement.
This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role where your trade, technical or engineering experience will make a real difference. You’ll lead capable teams, work across varied operational and project work, and play a key role in keeping important services running safely and reliably.
If you enjoy solving practical problems, building strong relationships and helping people do their best work, this role gives you the chance to do that every day.
