Agitator Driver – Moree
Johnstone Concrete and Quarries is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Agitator Driver for an immediate start at our Moree operation.
Position Overview
Reporting to the relevant site supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of pre-mixed concrete to customer sites, while maintaining high standards of safety, vehicle care, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and routine checks of the concrete agitator vehicle
- Transport pre-mixed concrete to designated delivery sites in a timely and efficient manner
- Safely operate the vehicle in full compliance with road laws, company policies, and safety procedures
- Discharge concrete efficiently and professionally at customer sites
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, including both interior and exterior, with particular attention at the end of each shift
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- A current and valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence
- A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
- A high level of awareness and commitment to workplace health and safety
- Mechanical aptitude and a practical approach to problem-solving
Previous experience operating a concrete agitator truck will be highly regarded, however is not essential.
