You'll Support Meaningful Work By:

Leading and developing the Ecommerce & Retail Operations team, setting priorities, objectives, and performance expectations.
Owning Australia ecommerce P&L performance, including revenue growth, conversion, profitability, and customer experience outcomes.
Identifying and executing opportunities to grow ecommerce revenue through digital channels, retail partnerships, marketplaces, and localizedmarketing initiatives.
Building, onboarding, and strengthening relationships with authorized retailers and key commercial partners across Australia.
Supporting and optimizing ecommerce operations across Shopify, marketplaces, fulfillment, inventory management, product content, and customer experience processes.
Partnering closely with Marketing, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and APAC leadership to deliver growth initiatives and operational excellence.
Supporting key commercial initiatives including product launches, promotional events, new channel development, and ecommerce capability enhancements.
Evaluating and implementing new tools, technologies, and processes to strengthen ecommerce capabilities and support future growth.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of ecommerce, digital commerce, retail operations, or omnichannel experience.
Proven people leadership and team development experience.
Ownership of commercial performance, including revenue growth and channel results.
Experience managing ecommerce platforms and digital sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, or similar).
Strong commercial, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Work Authorization

Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in Australia on a full-time basis. Steelcase will not provide support for work authorization or visa sponsorship for this role.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field.
Experience scaling ecommerce and marketplace channels.
Understanding of digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
Experience leading cross-functional business initiatives.
Experience within a premium consumer, retail, furniture, design, or lifestyle brand.
Experience managing retailer, marketplace, or channel partner relationships.
Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.
