What this opportunity involves:
Managing and maintaining a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within NSW/ACT region (or as allocated) on a day-to-day basis to support the service delivery functions of the client occupying the premises and ensuring compliance with performance expectations.
The role will assume overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk.
The portfolio will include a mixture of commercial and retail properties including major corporate head offices. (Approx 90 Retail sites and 2 Commercial/Corporate).
Location: Based at the client’s new corporate office at Darling Park, Sydney. There is an expectation that the Facilities Manager will be on-site 5 days a week if no site inspections planned.

Overview of the role:
Responsibilities include overseeing site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies, as well as occupancy services and helpdesk operations. Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:
A motivated self-starter with a proven track record of successfully delivering best practice and quality to their client.
An engaging people manager who thrives on inspiring and developing their team.
Experience in facilities, property management, or related field
Has experience working in corporate environments include dealings with Executive level.
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements
Knowledge of critical facilities
Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
Understands basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system)
Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts.
Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
Travel is required including potentially interstate.
The occupant must hold a current and valid Driver’s License
