ANZ Internal Communications Manager
We are seeking a forward-thinking, creative, positive and solution-oriented professional to join our internal communications team for Australia and New Zealand. This is an exciting opportunity to inform, engage and inspire more than 4,000 employees in two markets, and connect them to our purpose of shaping the future of real estate for a better world.
You will lead the development, implementation and measurement of dynamic internal communications strategies to reach JLL employees in Australia and New Zealand, with a particular focus on supporting our CEO, State MDs and Business Line leads. You will be integral in the roll-out and adoption of JLL’s intranet, called Connect.
The position reports to the Head of Communications Australia / head of Country Communications APAC, and will work closely with the global Internal Communications team.
Key responsibilities

Build productive, trusting relationships with ANZ leadership, providing thoughtful, strategic communications counsel and support.

Create internal communication plans and deliverables around key initiatives, including rewards and benefits, leadership and development, performance management, recognition, onboarding, engagement surveys, well-being and more.

Responsible for managing select channels to reach ANZ employees including newsletters, intranet, events, and internal screens. Tailor global messages and campaigns for specific audiences and channels.

Partner and collaborate with communications colleagues across the organization to bring new ideas to the table.

Develop and maintain communications calendar and processes for internal communications, in alignment with global communications channels and governance.
Qualifications
-
6-8 years of experience in communications roles, preferably with experience in internal communications. PR Agency experience and training an advantage.

Excellent writing skills, ability to identify an interesting story angle and create engaging content which is interesting to read / watch

Excellent stakeholder management skills
-
Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with senior executives across the organisation and external contacts; experience working with C-suite leaders is ideal

Critical thinker capable of synthesising complex information into messaging that’s easy to digest and inspires employees to take action

Excellent project management and operational skills

Proficiency in using range of digital platforms for internal communications; ability to derive insights from data to drive improvements

Proactively identifies where communication plans/strategies are needed and gets involved

Attention to detail

Ability to work within a deadline-driven environment

Ability to work across a matrixed structure as well as work independently

Passion for bringing the discipline of simplicity and continuous improvement to all aspects of work
