What this opportunity involves:
JLL is seeking an exceptional leader to drive our Retail Leasing and Advisory business across Australia for Property Management. As Head of Retail Leasing & Advisory – Property Management, you will influence and shape the future of our retail leasing operations, leading a high-performing team to deliver outstanding results for our clients and their retail assets.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Head of JLL Experience, with responsibility for securing investor appointments, maximising occupancy rates, and optimising tenant mix across our retail property portfolio. You will work closely with our national leaders to leverage JLL's market-leading pop-up leasing platform and marketing services.
An overview of the role:
- Drive national revenue growth, exceed leasing targets, and manage the retail leasing P&L
- Lead and develop a high-performance team, embedding JLL's values and driving a winning culture
- Provide strategic retail leasing advice and data-driven insights to clients
- Secure new business, identify cross-selling opportunities, and expand service offerings including retail centre marketing, LocationX, and fitout services
- Develop systems and processes to increase lead generation and accelerate deal completion
- Represent JLL at industry events and foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
- Drive innovation, ESG initiatives, and a client-centric, One JLL approach
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
- Proven senior retail leasing experience, including majors leasing (development leasing experience preferred)
- Valid Australian Real Estate Licence is required
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering commercial success
- Extensive industry network across investor clients and retail verticals
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships
- Strategic Leadership: Results-oriented with proven ability to drive change and make decisive calls
- Commercial Acumen: Financially astute with experience managing P&L and growing contribution income
- Relationship Builder: Confident, engaging, and articulate with exceptional stakeholder management skills
- People Leader: Emotionally intelligent communicator who inspires teams towards common goals
