Full Job Description

Blitz TCD Studios is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Administration & Customer Service Assistant to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, can confidently manage a range of administrative tasks, and is happy working in the busy and energetic environment of a dance, cheer and tumble studio.

About the Role

Working from our front desk, you will be one of the first points of contact for our families and athletes and will assist with the day-to-day administration and organisation of the studio.

Responsibilities will include:

responding to emails, phone calls, text messages and online enquiries;
assisting families with registrations, accounts and general enquiries;
following up outstanding fees, registrations and other administrative items;
managing class waiting lists, enrolment changes and withdrawals;
processing payments, vouchers and other account-related administration;
assisting with merchandise orders, collections and items to be distributed to families;
maintaining accurate records and completing general filing, scanning and administrative tasks;
monitoring studio first aid supplies;
keeping the reception and administration areas organised and presentable;
capturing regular photo and video content from classes, training sessions and around the studio for use across our social media platforms; and
assisting with other general studio administration as required.

Hours & Availability

This is a part-time position of approximately 12.5 hours per week, generally worked across four shifts. Additional hours may occasionally be available.

Our studio operates outside traditional business hours, so regular afternoon/evening and Saturday availability is essential.

The usual roster includes a combination of:

weekday afternoon/evening shifts, generally between 3:45pm–7:30pm;
Saturday shifts, generally between 9:00am–1:00pm; and
one weekday morning shift of approximately three hours, generally on a Tuesday or Wednesday between 9:00am–12:00pm.

As our roster follows the studio calendar, some flexibility is required. There are approximately five major events each year that may require additional Saturday afternoon/evening or Sunday availability, such as concerts and studio events.

Some daytime hours are also available during school holiday periods, particularly during December and January.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

friendly, approachable and confident communicating with both adults and children;
highly organised with good attention to detail;
able to work independently and identify what needs to be done without constant direction;
comfortable following up families professionally regarding accounts or outstanding administration;
confident using email, online systems and basic computer programs;
able to manage multiple small tasks and ensure nothing gets forgotten;
reliable and punctual;
confident using a phone to capture good-quality photos and short-form video content;
an understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Reels and current social media trends; and
willing to help with the practical, everyday jobs that keep a busy studio running smoothly.

Previous administration or customer service experience would be highly regarded. Experience within dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, children's activities or a similar environment is helpful but not essential.
