The Role
We're looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to provide vital administrative and project support to our Project and Construction teams throughout all phases of project delivery.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role works closely across Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to ensure the efficient delivery of construction projects, maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting, coordinating project information flow, and managing financial processing tasks.
Please note this is an experienced project coordination role rather than an entry point into project management. No formal qualifications are required; however, a background in engineering is essential.
Responsibilities

Establish, maintain, and control project documentation, registers, start-up files, and close-out packages (including as-built manuals)

Manage high-volume invoice data entry (SAP) and verification against purchase orders and project cost codes within our project management system, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination, scheduling, transmittal's, and correspondence

Manage procurement and contract administrative support, including purchase order issuing, supplier quote requests, and subcontractor documentation approvals

Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project administrative matters

Provide general business support, including collating reports
What You Will Need to Succeed

Previous experience in construction administration or project administration, gained within the Australian construction/engineering industry – required

Experience processing supplier invoices, financial reconciliation, and data entry – required

SAP (high-level competency)

MS Project experience - essential

Power BI, including analysis

Document control (basic knowledge)

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)

Exceptional organisational, planning, and time-management capabilities
