Service Manager (Hands-On Leadership Role)

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee daily service operations across our restaurant. Your main working hours will be at night and you must own a vehicle and licence.

This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role focused on running high-quality service, delivering exceptional customer experience, and supporting the team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage front-of-house service during shifts
Work independently or alongside managers to run service
Brief and direct staff on roles, service flow, and expectations
Ensure all food and beverages meet presentation, quality, and service standards
Monitor service performance and resolve issues in real time
Handle customer feedback, concerns, and conflict professionally
Maintain strong communication between front of house, kitchen, and bar
Ensure service runs smoothly, efficiently, and to a premium standard
Be vocal with the customers and deliver amazing and genuine customer service

About You

Proven experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or restaurant operations
Minimum 2-3 years of hospitality management or supervisory experience is required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Calm, confident, and professional under pressure
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
Flexible availability across mornings, nights, and weekends is essential. Your roster will work around the needs of the business.
Enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on service environment
