Full Job Description

Payroll & HR Administrator (Remote)

Golden Paws Home & Pet Services is a growing Australian home and pet services company expanding across Sydney and beyond. We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to join our team and help build strong systems as our workforce continues to grow.

This is a remote role offering flexible hours, starting on a part-time basis with the opportunity to increase as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on time.
Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
Collect and maintain employee records, including TFN declarations, superannuation forms, bank details, and other employment documentation.
Set up new employees in payroll software and maintain accurate records.
Assist with recruitment administration and onboarding.
Maintain confidential employee files and HR records.
Manage employee access to Connecteam and Microsoft Teams.
Ensure compliance with Fair Work, payroll, and employment requirements.
Respond to payroll and HR enquiries from employees.
Provide general administrative support to the management team.

About You

Previous experience in payroll and HR administration.
Knowledge of Australian payroll, PAYG, superannuation, and Fair Work requirements.
Experience using payroll software such as Xero Payroll, MYOB, Employment Hero, or similar.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Professional, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
