We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Coordinator to join our HR Services team. Supporting operations across Australia and New Zealand, this role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll administration while also providing broad HR coordination and support.
The Opportunity
Working closely with Payroll, HR, and operational leaders, you will play a key role in maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and training activities, generating HR reports, supporting recruitment processes, and ensuring employees are paid correctly in accordance with Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support weekly payroll processes, including timecard reviews, roster changes, and payroll integrations.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment conditions.
- Provide guidance to managers on payroll-related matters and award interpretation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve workforce management system issues (Kronos or similar).
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Respond to employee and manager enquiries regarding HR and payroll matters.
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, training sessions, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Prepare and distribute HR and payroll reports, including monthly workforce reporting.
- Support recruitment activities, investigations, and HR projects as required.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, and Operations teams to deliver efficient and compliant people processes.
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for a proactive and collaborative HR professional who enjoys balancing payroll administration with broader HR coordination and employee support responsibilities.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Payroll Coordinator, HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience supporting a waged workforce and working within complex payroll environments.
- Knowledge of Kronos (or a similar time and attendance system) and exposure to SAP HR/Payroll systems (desirable).
- Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll practices, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time-management skills.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Relevant HR, Payroll, or Business qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
