Payroll & HR Administrator (Remote)
Golden Paws Home & Pet Services is a growing Australian home and pet services company expanding across Sydney and beyond. We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to join our team and help build strong systems as our workforce continues to grow.
This is a remote role offering flexible hours, starting on a part-time basis with the opportunity to increase as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on time.
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
- Collect and maintain employee records, including TFN declarations, superannuation forms, bank details, and other employment documentation.
- Set up new employees in payroll software and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with recruitment administration and onboarding.
- Maintain confidential employee files and HR records.
- Manage employee access to Connecteam and Microsoft Teams.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, payroll, and employment requirements.
- Respond to payroll and HR enquiries from employees.
- Provide general administrative support to the management team.
About You
- Previous experience in payroll and HR administration.
- Knowledge of Australian payroll, PAYG, superannuation, and Fair Work requirements.
- Experience using payroll software such as Xero Payroll, MYOB, Employment Hero, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Professional, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
