Full Job Description

Help young performers find their voice!

Think Quick Theatre is seeking an enthusiastic coach to lead our students through singing, acting and dance skills in a Musical Theatre class.

AT A GLANCE:

$50+p/hr base rate.
Classes around Sutherland Shire, especially Engadine.
Availability Thursday afternoon in Engadine for existing class essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lead engaging weekly classes for children and teens to develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Has experience teaching musical theatre and/or directing musicals.
Can choreograph dance, develop vocal technique and coach characterisation skills.
Can prepare students for performances, competitions and (bonus) exams.
Encourages teamwork, creativity and has a passion for live performance.
Loves teaching and mentoring young people.
Has a WWCC, First Aid Certificate and drivers licence.
Has public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).
BONUS: experience entering into Eisteddfods, competitions and/or involvement with full-scale musicals.
