The role
An opportunity has become available for a Property Manager to join the GPT team responsible for the Brisbane Precinct, comprising 111 Eagle Street and Riverside Centre.
Reporting to and working closely with the General Manager, the Property Manager plays a key role in driving the overall performance of these premium assets. The position serves as a primary point of contact for both Commercial and Retail tenants, fostering strong relationships while supporting the development and execution of leasing strategies for existing and prospective occupiers.
This is a varied and dynamic role offering exposure to all facets of property management, including asset operations, tenant engagement, financial management, leasing, and project delivery. It presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated property professional to further develop their skills within a high-performing team and a landmark portfolio.
What you will be doing
- Prepare and deliver asset reporting, forecasting, business plans and performance analysis. Support property valuations by coordinating and providing required information.
- Contribute to asset strategies across leasing, capital works, marketing and asset positioning.
- Lease retail vacancies and implement tenant retention strategies.
- Develop and manage the annual retail marketing plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and retail tenants.
- Liaise with tenants, operations and property management teams to ensure high service standards.
- Drive customer service initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support the People First customer service program, including training, recognition and engagement activities.
- Manage car park, storage and locker licence administration.
- Administer telecommunications and DAS licences.
- Assist with lease administration, including lease documentation, assignments, subleases and incentives.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
What makes you stand out
To be successful in this role, you will bring at least five years’ property management experience and a strong understanding of commercial real estate principles, enabling you to effectively assess and manage tenancy, financial and operational matters. A tertiary qualification in a property-related discipline will be highly regarded.
You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to build trusted relationships with tenants, customers and colleagues, while your confidence and professionalism will enable you to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
