As a Senior Social Worker (Specialist Outpatients), you'll play a vital role in supporting people to navigate complex health challenges and achieve better outcomes. From providing advanced clinical support to shaping service improvements, you'll work with patients, families and healthcare teams to deliver care that is compassionate, connected and focused on what matters most.

Every day, you'll contribute by:
Delivering high-level social work support that helps patients manage complex health, wellbeing and psychosocial needs.
Partnering with multidisciplinary teams, patients and carers to create positive, person-centred outcomes.
Leading quality improvement initiatives that strengthen services and enhance patient experiences.
Sharing your expertise through mentoring, supervision and professional guidance that supports growth across the team.

Eligibility for professional membership as a qualified Social Worker and a current driver licence.
Significant experience delivering advanced social work services in complex clinical or healthcare environments.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience leading or contributing to service improvement, clinical governance, mentoring or supervision activities.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study relevant to social work and/or experience supporting people living with chronic disease, persistent pain or complex health conditions.
