Southern Cross Care QLD has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join the Finance team and support strong financial performance across our Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living and Community Services portfolios.

About the role

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, working as the Finance Business Partner, you will deliver timely insights, KPI reporting, modelling and performance analysis that enables leaders to improve outcomes and business performance in line with operational plans and budgets.

What will you bring to the role?

Tertiary qualification in accounting, business, economics or related field.
CA/CPA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
Demonstrated understanding of business analytics tools and accounting principles as per the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB).
Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability.
Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting capability.
Ability to drive continuous improvement across organisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders in complex environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Experience in aged care, health, or other highly regulated environments (desirable).
Experience with Epicor or similar enterprise finance systems (desirable).
Exposure to budgeting and forecasting systems (desirable)
