About the role
You’ll partner with a nominated Finance Partner to provide end-to-end project administration and financial support across their sector or portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely monthly and annual reporting.
Key accountabilities:
Assist with monthly invoicing, including accounts receivable analysis, client follow up and preparation of accruals based on WIP
Maintain sector billing forecasts for the current month, financial year and whole-of-life
Review and process subconsultant invoices, ensuring correct documentation, approvals and Deltek entry, and coordinate payment approvals with Project Leaders
Set up and maintain projects in Deltek with a focus on contract management, billing terms and data integrity
Support the Finance Partner and Studio/Sector/Project Leaders with P&L reviews, labour and subconsultant analysis, and other financial/project reporting as required
About you
You’re a detail-focused finance or project accounts professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-based environment and building strong relationships with non-financial stakeholders.
Key requirements
Strong knowledge and experience in general ledger reconciliation, with solid numerical and analytical skills
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint and project-based accounting experience highly regarded)
Familiarity with construction/design or professional services project accounting processes (desirable)
Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment
A proactive team player with excellent communication skills who takes ownership and can work both independently and collaboratively
