About the role
This position provides support to the Manager Finance Business Partnering and Senior Finance Business Partners in the provision of business partnering, including financial insights, analysis and advice to the Divisions within West Moreton Health. This role supports financial leadership and provides advice and business analysis in matters relating to all financial, service costing, system development and funding models.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Ability to contribute to the effective delivery of business partnering, performance reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting functions in large healthcare organisation.
Highly developed skills and practical expertise in contemporary enterprise-wide financial management applications (e.g. DSS Necto, BPT and S/4HANA) and Microsoft Office applications relevant to management accounting functions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team to deliver on agreed goals and objectives.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, with competing priorities, to meet deadlines.
While not mandatory, the following would be considered highly desirable. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of duties.
Possession of a relevant qualification from a registered tertiary institution and/or experience in Business, Commerce, Accounting or other relevant discipline including CPA/CA.
Experience with Queensland Health finance systems and procedures, or Queensland Government finance experience.
