The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Financial Analyst to join a high-performing finance team on an initial 6-month contract.
You will play a key role in supporting treasury and cash flow activities, while assisting with financial reporting and project works. It is the perfect next step for a junior professional looking to grow their foundational finance skillset.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly and monthly financial and operational reporting
- Assist with treasury activities including cash management, bank account management
- Assist with short and long-term cash flow forecasts
- Analyse working capital performance and identify cash flow improvement opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting and processes
- Partner with regional finance team to support strategic and day-to-day decision making
- Assist with ad hoc projects, reporting requests and business improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- Commenced or looking to commence CACA/CPA qualified
- 1-2 years of foundational experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or general accounting environment
- Strong intermediate Excel skills and exposure to reporting tools like Power BI is highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
- A proactive mindset and team-player mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and commercial outcomes
