Your Team
The Retirement team, within the CFS Superannuation and Investments business unit, is responsible for the Retirement strategy, product innovation and management, development and delivery of key superannuation and investment products offered in conjunction with our key strategic Insurance partners.
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of strategic growth initiatives and projects aligned to our retirement vision, strategy and roadmap, in conjunction with our insurance partners.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development through to launch and ongoing management
Analysing and developing options and recommendations
Developing future state product features and requirements
Define and execute the product strategy to ensure the solutions meets customer needs through research and delivers on CFS’s strategic objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, operations, marketing, compliance, and distribution) and external vendors to design commercially viable and compliant solutions
Ensure products comply with Australian regulatory frameworks, including SIS Act, Corporations Act, APRA and ASIC requirements
Champion customer-centric design and continuous improvement, using data and insights to inform decisions
Engage with stakeholders across the business to align priorities and communicate product vision and progress
Support product governance processes, including product approvals, regulatory submissions, and product reviews
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to ensure the proposed offer remains relevant and competitive
Your Capability and Experience
Solid demonstrated experience in product development, management or implementation within superannuation, wealth management, or financial services
Strong expertise in leveraging subject matter experts in retirement and post-retirement products within the Australian market
Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
Commercially minded with a focus on customer outcomes
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable operating in a regulated, fast-changing environment
Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional product implementations
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
Understanding of Australian superannuation and financial services regulation (APRA, ASIC, SIS, DDO)
