Job Description

Are you a relationship-focused healthcare professional with experience in medical liaison, business development, or stakeholder engagement? Have you worked in and around Hills district, Sydney? Join our team and play a key role in strengthening referral networks and supporting the growth of our skin cancer services.

About the Role

Reporting to Practice Manager, you will work closely with the Medical team and Management to build strong relationships across the local healthcare community. This part-time / freelancer position is responsible for driving referral growth, increasing engagement with General Practitioners, Practice Managers, allied health professionals, Retirement villages, Nursing homes, Golf Clubs, Bowling clubs, RSL clubs promoting the clinic’s services etc. This is a highly visible relationship management role focused on developing strong referrer networks, identifying growth opportunities, supporting GP engagement enhancing our skin cancer clinic’s presence within the local medical community.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to increase referrals through GP engagement, networking and targeted business development activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with GP practices, Practice Managers and Allied Health professionals across the local catchment.
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide insights on referral activity, trends and growth opportunities.
Promote our clinic skin cancer services, clinical specialties and capabilities through stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
Support strategic growth initiatives.

About You

You will bring experience in business development, healthcare liaison, stakeholder engagement or a similar relationship-focused role, with the ability to build trusted partnerships and influence outcomes.

You will have:

Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining professional relationships across diverse stakeholder groups in the area.
having existing relationships with local general practices and stakeholder groups in the Hills area highly desirable.
Strong communication, networking and influencing skills, with confidence engaging with medical professionals.
Experience coordinating stakeholder events, education sessions or engagement activities.
The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
Strong organisational skills, with experience using CRM systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for growth.
A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the local catchment.

Desirable

Experience within private healthcare or the medical industry.
Qualifications in Business, Marketing, Health or a related discipline.
Understanding of GP referral pathways and specialist engagement.
Experience with CRM reporting, Power BI or data analytics tools.
