About the Opportunity
The Program Accelerator team ensures that priority and complex projects are set up for success by setting a consistent method and standards for managing projects and change. The Program Accelerator team may lead or contribute expertise to the design and delivery of priority projects and ensure alignment to the Agency for Clinical Innovation's strategic goals and objectives.
The Identified Senior Project and Change Officer provides the operational oversight and coordination to deliver the program, project and change management plan or strategies across any stage of the project life cycle. The role will work across multiple projects designed to deliver healthcare improvement initiatives, in hospitals and clinical settings across NSW Health. Additionally the role will support delivery of projects in a culturally appropriate way where relevant, with proactive connection and engagement with the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Stream within ACI. The Stream plays a connecting, enabling and safeguarding role- supporting staff wellbeing, strengthening cultural safety, and ensuring Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing are embedded across ACI.

Selection Criteria
This is an identified Aboriginal Position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal descent. Exemption is claimed under Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Aboriginal applicants must demonstrate Aboriginality in addition to addressing the Selection Criteria.
- Must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent through parentage, identification as being Aboriginal and being accepted in the community as such under section 14 (d) of the NSW Antidiscrimination Act (1977), with knowledge and experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated relevant health management/ industry experience and transferrable skills to a health setting.
- Demonstrated experience in using project management methodologies and Indigenous methodologies or change management (implementation) methodologies to deliver results in a health setting.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, coordinating and delivering project or change management plans within scope, timelines and quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume environment with multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders across a range of subject matter areas.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to influence change and improvement strategies with senior clinicians, executives and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint, and project management and collaboration tools.
