LOCATION: TGC Head Office, 255 Wilson St, Eveleigh NSW 2015
HOURS: Full Time, Monday to Friday (no nights or weekends!)

Two Good Co is looking for a passionate & skilled Catering Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef in our catering kitchen and to inspire our team in the creation of beautiful food made with love.

The role will work across the catering business producing food for corporate orders, our corporate partners and crucially the shelters we provide meals to.

This role would suit someone who can work calmly and professionally with fresh food in a fast-paced, creative fun kitchen that prides itself on its social impact.

KEY TO SUCCESS:

Lead by Example. At Two Good, workplace culture is paramount. In this role, you're expected to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced catering kitchen. Leading by example and effective communication are crucial, especially when working the women in our employment pathways program.
Systems and Process Oriented. Capable of independently managing catering orders while maintaining Two Good’s high standards. Proficient in following the Head Chef's instructions and adhering to Two Good’s established procedures, ensuring consistency, standardisation and maintenance of food safety practices.
Work with Empathy. Being situated in our catering kitchen, you will need to work in a sensitive and supportive way with people from vulnerable backgrounds.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
Experience in a high-standard kitchen.
Completion of industry-approved studies in Commercial Cookery, or relevant comparable industry experience and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
Understanding of food safety standards.
A strong work ethic, high level of self-motivation and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
As a team member of the Two Good kitchen you are required to uphold the highest presentation standards and always display a professional appearance.
Minimum 1-2 years kitchen experience
