Full Job Description

At Bar Biscotti, we’re passionate about great food, quality ingredients, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We’re looking for a talented part time or full time Chef to join our kitchen team and help us continue delivering exceptional brunch.

Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for assisting kitchen operations, and ensuring every dish served meets our venue’s standards of taste, presentation, and efficiency. This is a hands-on service-oriented role, designed to provide strong support within existing frameworks. Reporting directly to the Head Chefs and General Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes to a high standard
Develop and update seasonal menu items in collaboration with the management team
Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times
Monitor stock levels, assist in managing various sections, and minimize waste
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff (if applicable)
Maintain a positive and collaborative kitchen culture
Plan, organise and control day to day operations of the kitchen for optimum functioning within your section
Assist with menu planning

Requirements:

Proven experience as a chef in a busy café, restaurant, or similar environment (minimum of 1-2 years)
Passion for fresh, quality food and creative menu development
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during peak times
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Relevant culinary qualifications (preferred but not essential)
