Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$86,000 per year + super
This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week.
East Avenue Espresso is a busy Greek-inspired cafe in 0atley avenue looking for an experienced Chef to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Greek-inspired breakfast and lunch dishes
- Grill and prep souvlaki wraps, lamb, pork, chicken daily
- Make sauces and dips from scratch including tzatziki and hummus
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Manage stock, ordering, and food preparation
- Work efficiently during busy cafe service
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef in a cafe or restaurant
- Experience with Mediterranean/Greek cuisine preferred
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
- Food Safety Certificate and RSA an advantage
- Must have the right to work in Australia
