The Opportunity:

Part-Time 0.8 EFT | Ongoing contract of employment
PW6 $88,255 - $94,738 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport

The Social Inclusion and Vocational College department is dedicated to supporting students who face barriers to mainstream education by providing inclusive, flexible, and supportive learning environments. The department focuses on re-engaging young people through a combination of tailored educational programs, vocational training, and holistic wellbeing support. With a strong emphasis on practical learning, employability skills, and personal development, the department empowers students to build confidence, achieve meaningful qualifications, and transition successfully into further education, training, or employment. At its core, the department is committed to fostering equity, belonging, and long-term positive outcomes for all students.

This role acts as the key liaison between the Institute and secondary schools, youth organisations, and community stakeholders to support the development and delivery of programs for secondary school students. The position provides a central point of contact for schools and external partners engaged in Holmesglen programs and works collaboratively with Faculties to develop new vocational program offerings for schools. The role disseminates information on relevant government policies, including those related to VET in Schools, facilitates meetings with Faculty VET and Pathway Coordinators, and participates in external working groups with the schools’ sector, Local Learning and Employment Networks (LLENs), and community organisations. In partnership with the Marketing department, the position also supports the development and coordination of school engagement initiatives such as TAFE Taster programs and careers counsellor host programs, while monitoring and providing advice to Faculties on VET in Schools, pathways, and related programs.

As a Youth Sector Partnerships Coordinator, you will:

Oversee the vocational programs at Holmesglen for currently enrolled school students, including VET delivered to secondary school students (VDSS) and Pathways programs.

Efficiently manage the end-to-end billing cycle for all schools participating in VDSS. Including accurately generating and issuing invoices, tracking payment status, and proactively following up on outstanding accounts.

To be successful, you’ll have:

Relevant Degree or relevant post graduate qualification and experience; or less formal qualifications with substantial experience.

Demonstrated organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail, with proficiency in basic computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, to support administrative and program-related tasks.

WWCC and Police Check:

Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
