Salary: $86,165 – $98,972 p.a plus super (pro rata)
The opportunity:
Join Generation Victoria (GenV), one of the world's largest intergenerational cohort studies, and help shape research aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of children, families and communities. We are seeking a Project Officer to lead meaningful consumer and stakeholder engagement, working with participants, researchers and community partners to ensure diverse voices inform impactful research and drive positive change.
This opportunity is offered as a part-time position (30.4 hours per week). We also welcome applications from two candidates seeking part-time appointments.
What you’ll do
Coordinate consumer, community and research stakeholder groups
Lead GenV's consumer and community involvement strategy
Plan and deliver workshops, meetings and engagement activities
Prepare accessible materials to support consumer involvement
Build relationships with researchers, partners and community stakeholders
What you’ll bring
Experience in consumer and community involvement in research, health or social policy
Strong understanding of meaningful and inclusive consumer and community involvement
Experience planning and facilitating workshops, advisory groups or consultations
Demonstrated project coordination, planning and evaluation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
