in partnership with the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) as a member since 2010 to develop sustainable practices for design, construction and operation of infrastructure projects.

About the opportunity:

As a result of internal promotion this exciting opportunity has arisen in which you will be responsible for the provision of administration/contracts support to the project team; administration support for the project sites and hands on/site-based support to functional areas of the core project team inclusive of technical and project co-ordination.

You will provide the Project Manager with information extrapolated from client issued Site Instructions, Change Orders, Traffic Management Plans and other various control documents in order to identify opportunities for increased revenue for Holcim.

You will additionally assist with all aspects of project administration including compliance with the Project's reporting requirements, daily pricing review, preparation/submission of payment claims and attendance at all formal project meetings or as directed by the PM.

Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the PD which is available upon request and include:

Helping coordinate the manufacture and delivery schedule of precast products to civil infrastructure projects.
Responding to client issued formal correspondence and preparing and submission of formal correspondence to the client.
Administering contract documentation and related deliverables (notices etc) in consultation with the Project Team.
Maintaining records for works under Site Instruction and ensure the PM is notified if the value of the work will exceed the approved value of the instruction.
Preparation of reports to the client as per the contract requirement including monthly reports, AIP, Indigenous Reporting, Environmental Reports, Weekly Statistical Reports and other reports as required.
Assisting the updating of various project folders on the project database.
Maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace.
Complying with all relevant safety, health and environment legislation.

About you:

A related qualification - or working towards one (highly regarded but not mandatory).
Sound experience in a similar role in a related industry (highly regarded).
Basic knowledge of concrete and quarry products (highly regarded but not mandatory).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with a variety of systems and IT programs.
High degree of computer literacy.
A service-oriented approach to work
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions.
Intermediate proficiency in Google suite preferred.
