About The Role
Simoom Construction is a reputable commercial contractor based in Brisbane, delivering quality projects across Queensland. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to join our growing team.
This full-time, on-site role will support the senior project team in managing contracts, coordinating documentation, and ensuring all commercial and contractual processes are completed accurately and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, review, and manage contracts, variations, and related documentation.
· Coordinate client specifications and project documentation in accordance with building contracts.
· Assist with tendering, subcontractor engagement, and subcontract administration.
· Monitor project progress through monthly WIP and construction program reporting.
· Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure contractual obligations are met.
· Maintain and update contract databases, records, and registers.
· Manage contract correspondence, progress claims, and variations.
· Support senior management with contract reviews, reporting, and implementation of instructions.
· Attend and document meetings, track follow-up actions, and resolve contract-related issues.
· Ensure all work is carried out safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
About You:
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
· 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry (commercial or industrial projects preferred).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.

Pay: $70,899.96 – $151,824.76 per year
