About the Role
We're looking for a collaborative and detail-focused Coordinator Learning Governance to help ensure CFA delivers high-quality, compliant and consistent training to our members across Victoria.
In this role, you'll support the governance and quality frameworks that underpin CFA's Registered Training Organisation (RTO) operations. Working closely with the Manager Quality and Evaluation, you'll provide expert advice, coordinate governance activities and help maintain compliance with national RTO standards. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen training and assessment practices and create a positive learning experience for our members.
This is an opportunity to influence learning quality across a large, complex organisation while working with a passionate team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
More specifically you will:
- Provide expert advice on learning governance, compliance and emerging issues.
- Coordinate governance and compliance activities that support CFA's Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Analyse governance data to identify risks, inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Review governance practices and recommend improvements to strengthen quality and compliance.
- Lead validation, auditing and compliance activities to maintain RTO registration and meet national standards.
- Monitor training, assessment and learner records to ensure compliance with RTO and organisational requirements.
- Support the implementation, governance and ongoing maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS), including data quality.
- Collaborate with learning and development teams to embed consistent governance and compliance practices across CFA.
- Contribute governance expertise to the development of learning frameworks, policies and resources.
- Prepare reports, briefing papers, project documentation and other governance communications.
About you
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent and an understanding of the arrangements, standards and environment of an RTO.
- Strong compliance and quality control experience, leading compliance activities that support maintenance of RTO status
- Well-developed written communication skills to develop reports & correspondence and to convey training information and objectives to internal & external customers.
- Proven administrative skills and experience, including word processing, spreadsheets and ability to utilise a variety of enterprise wide systems and applications.
- A contemporary understanding of competency based learning & development business practices
- Proven ability to manage numerous, varied and concurrent projects within budget, quality and time parameters.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a (virtual) team
