PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Senior Manager, Asset Management contributes to the organisational goals of Power and Water as a Senior Leader within the Water Services
team. The Senior Manager is responsible for the effective asset management of approximately $4.4B in water and wastewater assets across major
and minor centres and remote communities of the Northern Territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The “WHAT” to be delivered

Functional

Identify and implement asset management objectives and strategies across Water Services that are consistent with Power and Water’s Asset

Management Policy and align with ISO55000

Within Power and Water’s Asset Management Framework develop and maintain a Strategic Asset Management Plan and class-based Asset

Management Plans incorporating maintenance and replacement plans for water assets

Optimise the performance of water assets to meet defined levels of service, health, safety and environment taking into account the full

lifecycle costs, benefits and risks

Develop, prioritise and retain accountability for the overall Water Services capital program for both major and minor projects
Initiate appropriate investigations and studies to develop robust preliminary and detailed business cases to secure capital and operational

funding under a regulated environment
